Why is the service free?
We are currently offering the beta release of our service free to support and promote the growth of mobile web sites.
As with most betas, we will be fine tuning features here and there, hopefully with constructive input from our beta users.
After the end of our beta period, we will still offer free mobile analytics, but we may also offer other additional features on a fee basis.
How do you resolve device details?
We use a combination of the WURFL as well as our own internal database to resolve device details.
We update periodically to account for new devices as they appear in the market.
Where can I find my tracking tags?
They can be found by logging in and accessing Control Panel > Account Control Panel > Tracking Tags.
Should I use the HTML Image Tag or the PHP Image Tag?
If your web server supports PHP, then using the PHP Tag is the best choice. With the PHP Tag,
you get all the Pageview and Referring Source information.
If your server does not support PHP, then the HTML Tag is your only option. The HTML Tag can provide all the necessary
device and visit information, however it can not provide details about referrers. If not knowing the referring site or
search engine is acceptable, then use this tag.
Is there a Server-to-Server Tracking Tag?
For users who want the greater accuracy of a server-to-server tracking code instead of an image based
tracking code, then the following options are available.
Download the applicable server-to-server code from above, and copy and paste the code onto your mobile web pages or save it
as an external file and call on your pages as an include. Please note that in the codes above, you'll have to replace the generic
_aqid = "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"
with your own unique aqid value. Your aqid can be found by logging in and accessing
Control Panel > Account Control Panel > Tracking Tags.
How do I add a new site to track via myRT Mobile?
Adding new sites is done through the Control Panel > Site Control Panel.
